Music in the park occurs in veterans park, the Historic Tree Streets neighborhood, beside South Side School on Southwest Avenue at Locust Street. Social interactions amongst the fans are always a joy, as are the performances the concerts are the 2nd Sunday of the month in June, July, August, September and October.
Bring your lawn chair or your blanket and spend a relaxing afternoon under the shade trees. Veterans Park is a great venue for families. There is plenty of grass for young children to run and play on. The concerts are free.
Donations for the musicians will be appreciated. No rain dates.
The concerts are sponsored by the Southside Neighborhood Organization.

This is one of the best things we do here in the Tree Streets. The music is wonderful, it's a good place to see your old friends and meet new ones, and it promotes good music . Hey, what could be better??? Good westher is a must, and so far we have had it. Thanks Mary Lee , you're doing a fabulous job.
